Phil McNamara, M.S.
I'm passionate about understanding complex systems: from a cell's metabolic pathway to a distributed Nextflow pipeline. My work with nontraditional model organisms has taught me to think deeply about the assumptions and limitations of scientific software tools and to adapt them accordingly. I've learned effective communication from working across fields and with wide-ranging stakeholders including scientists, physicians, software engineers, and patients. I'm excited to continue contributing to technology and science as they work to improve human health.
